Fair use on the Reporting Care Plan

The Reporting Care Plan comes in three tiers, and what fair use means depends on which one you are on.

• Watch (£250) covers monitoring, alerting, a monthly scored health report and diagnosis of any failure within 24 hours. It deliberately includes no build hours. If something needs fixing rather than diagnosing, I will quote it or suggest moving up a tier, and I will never quietly do the work and invoice for it.
• Care (£750) includes up to four hours of build work and one request in progress at a time. Queue as many as you like across the month; I work them in order.
• Partner (£1,500) includes up to ten hours and two requests in progress at once.
• Everything covers the subscribing organisation and its own reports. It is not transferable to other companies.
• Hours don't roll over on any tier. The plan buys availability and monitoring every month, not a bank of time.
• If a request is clearly bigger than the tier (a new report, a remodel, a migration), I'll say so before any work starts and quote it separately. Nothing extra is ever billed silently.
• If you're regularly hitting the ceiling, that's a good problem, and we'll talk about whether the next tier or a scoped piece of work fits better. You can cancel any tier at any time.

Payment terms on fixed-price work

The Health Check and the Watch tier can be paid online. Everything larger starts with a conversation, because most of it depends on a number only you can tell me, and because a fixed price on work I have not scoped is a promise I have no business making.

• 50% to book, 50% on delivery, with 14 days to pay. Invoice or card, whichever suits your finance team.
• All prices exclude VAT where applicable.
• The deposit holds your date. Booking blocks out my diary, so the first half is non-refundable inside 14 days of the start date. Move it with more notice and nothing is lost.
• Work pauses while an invoice is overdue. Saying so here saves an awkward conversation later.
• Scope changes are quoted before they start rather than absorbed and then invoiced.
• Delays getting access move the delivery date, never the fee.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing here follows you around the web. It does count visits, using a tool that needs no cookies to do it. A few embedded third-party tools can set their own cookies inside their own frames, listed below.

• Visitor analytics: I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages people actually read and how quickly they load. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and doesn't fingerprint you or follow you to other sites. What I get back is a count: page addresses, the site you arrived from, country, browser, device type and loading speed. There's nothing in it that lets me work out who you are. Since nothing is stored on your device, there's no consent banner to click.
• Your theme choice (light or dark) is stored in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.
• Embedded tools: the portfolio page embeds live Power BI reports from Microsoft, and the contact page embeds a Cal.com booking widget. Inside those frames, Microsoft and Cal.com may set their own cookies under their own policies.
• Forms and payments are handled by Formspree and Stripe on their own pages and endpoints, under their own policies.
• Hosting: the site is served by Cloudflare, which may use strictly necessary cookies for security and performance.

If I ever add something that does track you, or stores anything on your device, this page will be updated first to say exactly what it collects, and a consent banner will be added if one is needed.

Who handles your data

If you give me your email or your details, here's exactly where they go. I don't sell data, and I don't share it beyond the tools below that make the site work.

• Email signups: if you download the checklist or subscribe to the newsletter, your email is stored and sent through MailerLite, my email provider. Every signup uses double opt-in, so nothing reaches your inbox until you confirm it, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
• Enquiries and clients: if you get in touch or become a client, I keep your contact details and our correspondence in Capsule CRM so I can do the work and follow up properly. That's the only place they live.
• Dashboard downloads: if you download the free Data Quality Health Check, your email and which system you picked are stored in my own database, hosted by Supabase in the EU (Ireland). I use it to know which systems people actually want and to follow up about the dashboard. The dashboard itself runs on your machine and sends nothing back. Not to me, not to anyone.
• Your rights: you can ask me what I hold, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, any time, at [email protected]. Neither MailerLite nor Capsule sets cookies on this site.
